UFC 150 Results: Bendo Edges Edgar In Razor-Thin Split Decision

Posted: August 16, 2012 in Uncategorized

It was another razor close decision in the Ben Henderson/Frankie Edgar rivalry, and we saw Ben Henderson again on the winning side of the judges favor winning a split decision (46-49, 48-47, 48-47). This fight was much more controversial than the first, with most fans and fighters watching along thinking Edgar was the true winner. The saying “you have to beat the best to be the best” applied, though, as neither was the obvious winner after 25 minutes of fighting, and Henderson retained the lightweight belt.
