With the XXX Olympic Games coming to a close yesterday, it brings to memory one of the greatest matches in Total Nonstop Action (TNA) wrestling history, in Kurt Angle versus Samoa Joe.  Although some may not realize it, both Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle have a connection to the Olympic Games.  Kurt Angle essentially built his career on the fact that he won a gold medal in the 1996 Olympic Games.  His talent as an amateur wrestler has carried clout and really built the idea that he truly is one of the best in the world at what he does.  On the other hand, “the Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe performed at the age of 5 years old at the Opening of the 1984 Olympic Games.  His ability to steam roll over his competition through heavy punches and high impact attacks made him one of the more feared in ring competitors.
