The main card at UFC 150 was a roller coaster ride. It started with a fun battle between young guns Max Holloway and Justin Lawrence and ended with a controversial decision in the favor of Benson Henderson in the nights main event. In between there was a snoozer that saw Jake Shields defeat Ed Herman, a rout that had Yushin Okami all over late replacement Buddy Roberts (what an awesome name) and a white knuckle brawl between madmen Donald Cerrone and Melvin Guillard.

All anyone will be talking about around the water cooler will be the decision in the Henderson-Edgar fight.

Henderson came out strong in the first round and targeted the leg of Edgar with viscous kicks, completely taking the challenger off his feet late in the round with a kick. The round ended with Henderson grabbing a hold of Edgar’s neck and attempting a guillotine that looked dangerous at points.
