Jay Hieron returns to the UFC after a 7 year absence. Recently, Hieron participated in and won Bellator’s season-five welterweight tournament, earning a shot at champion, Ben Askren. He ended up losing a razor thin split decision, in a fight many believe Hieron should have got the victory. Last time out, Hieron defeated Romario Manoel da Silva via second round brabo choke at Legacy Fighting Championships 12.
